OFFIE FINALISTS 2017....

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE FINALISTS for their work in 2016 – a year packed full of daring productions and outstanding achievements!

WINNERS will be announced on Sunday 26th February from 5pm….

The Panel, the Assessors, the Administrators and the Patron Saints all wish you the very best of luck
and are so proud to be part of The Offies (that are so much more than just awards!) to recognise and celebrate the work of independent theatres across London, to raise the profile of new talent punching through and to make sure the winners are supported, after the party is over and the bubbly has run dry, by introducing them to experts at the heart of the industry who can guide their next steps in the coming year.

Listed below are THE FINALISTS in the first, and still the only, awards to celebrate the full spectrum of work staged over 100 independent theatres and companies across London. Wherever we are invited, we go – with our assessors assessing over 400 productions over a calendar year.

Please note that Best Female and Best Male actor categories are so hotly contested that we allow 4 rather than 3 finalists in these two categories only. The Best Artistic Director, Best Producer and Special Achievement category winners will be announced along with all other winners on Sunday 26th February 2017 but are not listed here. Meanwhile, the new nominations for this coming year will be published very soon as they come rolling in……just check The Offies page on the tab above.

IF YOU ARE A FINALIST, please email lauren_gauge@hotmail.co.uk to let us know your telephone/mobile number so that we can keep in touch with you in the run up to announcing the winners on Sunday 26th February 2017.

SIR PATRICK STEWART will be our gorgeous host this year, gallantly taking over from Sir Ian McKellen last year. Sir Patrick will be tweeting the names of the winners on Sunday 26th February from 5pm onwards (just before the Oscars, of course!) in a loud and lavish social media celebration that last year topped 36 million twitter exposures.

PARTY PACK – look out for our 2017 downloadable Party Pack available free and coming soon to a link near you. Whether you are a nominee or a finalist, start making plans to gather your friends in pubs, clubs, flats, tents and sheds on Sunday 26th February at 5pm – print off your programme, give the Sir Patrick mask to your chosen host, pin on your nomination badge, make up your own personalised and possibly inappropriate categories, fill in your winner's certificate in preparation, poise yourself smirking in front of the downloadable sponsor board with glass in hand and start tweeting us at OffWestEnd.com!

COUNTDOWN FROM NOW
Brace yourselves from today for the countdown to the winners:

+ DON’T FORGET TO VOTE BEFORE 14th FEBRUARY in the Public Vote for Most Welcoming Theatre, Best Theatre Bar and Best Foodie Experience. Simply scroll to the bottom of this page and subscribe for free for the privilege of cheering on these plucky little powerhouses – they need to be reminded how good they are!
