About: Dogs

A lack of certainty about events heightens the dramatic interest, intrigue and general anxiety of this tempestuous new corporate power play for five women – Alex, Peterson, Mads, Joan, and the enigmatic Andrews. Business instability is high and confrontation with the enemy, Jeffries, is imminent. Trust has eroded and alliances are bought and sold as Joan, the new girl, is asked to ‘hold onto’ a set of files.
But what’s in them? Are they a diversion so that Alex can control her workforce through fear and at the same time deal with an old business foe, or do they contain meaningful information that will implicate one of her employees? Is the whole thing a set up to test Joan’s resolve on her journey into corporate maturity?
Suspicions mount on all sides – but no one can guess Alex’s motives (or the level of her awareness). Any firm understanding of the status relationship is further undermined by the appearance of Andrews. Who is she, what’s her role, and what’s her relationship to Alex?
As loyalties are jostled for and the play builds to its suspenseful climax, two questions remain: who’ll get it in the neck, and who the hell is Svetlana?

21 June at 7.30pm / 22 June at 4pm and 7.30pm
