About: Kingdom Of Earth

Mr D Theatre Company in association with The Rosemary Branch Theatre presents
by Tennessee Williams
directed by Christopher Hosking
designed by Francesca David

Following a sell out run at the Studio Theatre in Kings Cross, Kingdom of Earth is a world premiere trilogy of three short plays by Tennessee Williams which includes 27 Wagons of Cotton and Talk To Me Like The Rain And Let Me Listen. Representing three decades of writing and distilling the essence of Tennessee Williams into under two hours, these works lay bare his obsessions. The impulse to dominate sexual awareness, and the pursuit of ownership result in a rich narrative about the creation of modern American culture. Christopher Hosking is a recipient of the Leverhulme Trust Arts scholarship, both he and Francesca David are recent graduates of Central Saint Martins.
10-15 September Tuesday-Friday 7.30pm, Sunday 2pm & 7pm (no show Saturday 14th)
