About: HOLES

Starring The Wrong Mans’ Mathew Baynton, Elizabeth Berrington and BAFTA winner Daniel Rigby

We are the survivors of flight BA043. We don’t know where we are. You have to help us. Hello? ... Is there anybody out there? ... Hello ... ?

Stranded, four survivors wait.

Surely somebody will find them. Planes don't just disappear, do they? And, if no-one's coming… what do they do now?

Absurd, hilarious and fast-paced, Tom Basden’s razor-sharp comedy lands in London this summer for a strictly limited run in the Arcola Tent.

Tom Basden is an award-winning writer (Royal Television Society, Fringe First Award and Edinburgh Comedy Award) and three-time BAFTA nominee. He has written some of Britain’s best comedy shows including Peep Show, Fresh Meat, The Wrong Mans, Plebs, and Cowards.

Phillip Breen is the critically acclaimed director behind the Royal Shakespeare Company’s hit production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, the five-star True West, and the award-winning Party – his first collaboration with Tom Basden.

Mathew Baynton was nominated for a BAFTA for Horrible Histories and The Wrong Mans, and won a Royal Television Society Award for the latter. He stars in Yonderland, Blandings, Peep Show, and Gavin and Stacey.

Elizabeth Berrington’s stage credits include The Low Road at the Royal Court, Absent Friends at the Harold Pinter, and Abigail’s Party at Hampstead. Her screen credits include Babylon, New Tricks, Doctor Who, Waterloo Road, The Alan Partridge Movie, In Bruges, Nanny McPhee, Vera Drake and Quills.

Daniel Rigby is an award-winning actor and stand-up comedian, winning a BAFTA for Leading Actor for his performance as Eric Morecombe in Eric and Ernie, and has starred in Lillies, One Man, Two Guvnors, Spooks, and Black Mirror.

HOLES reunites the writer-director duo behind the award-winning PARTY.
