About: These are your lives.

Incorporating a verbatim script courtesy of Tom Cruise, re-interpreted iconic film scenes and a live choral soundtrack, These are your lives. tells the story of celebrity; its birth, its life, its destruction and its resurrection.

‘I’m used to watching these things in awe, and all of a sudden, I’m inside the picture and I didn’t know what I was doing.’ – Tom Cruise

Set in a chat-show studio, identity becomes an illusion and performance compulsive in this darkly humorous investigation of celebrity’s fragmented personas.

Geste Records is an ensemble of performance, sound and visual artists co-directed by English director, Alexander Rennie, and Belgian choreographer, Tara D’Arquian. Following a sell-out run of This is your life. in 2013, Geste Records return to The Yard Theatre with an extended development of the production, These are your lives.
