James son of James
On from 05 Feb 2008 till 09 Feb 2008
by Fabulous Beast
Genre(s): Comedy, Musical

About: James son of James

James son of James is a story of accidental heroism, hero worship, sadness, love, power, betrayal and revenge, told through dance, song and comedy.

James returns home for his fatherís funeral having been away for eleven years. He is late and misses the burial, but becomes embroiled in the lives of ten characters: the local politician, his wife and their son, the policeman and his wife, a farmer, a doctor, a merchant, his daughter and a young woman from the east.

Fabulous Beast exploded onto the Irish arts scene in 1997. The company is led by Michael Keegan-Dolan, one of Ireland's most talented, challenging and innovative contemporary artists. His ability to fuse the visual immediacy of dance with the narrative strength of theatre has won Fabulous Beast many plaudits.

Suitable for ages 14+ (Contains some strong language and adult themes)
