About: Confirmation

The critically acclaimed, 2014 Fringe First award-winning show returns for a limited two week run.

'If you pinned me against a wall, Id probably admit to being a liberal. Of course, pinning me against a wall is exactly what Id expect from someone like you.'

A show about the gulfs we cant talk across, and about the way we choose to see only the evidence that proves were right.

With an election looming and new voices appearing in UK politics, Chris Thorpe and Rachel Chavkin (THE TEAM) examine the phenomenon of Confirmation Bias through an honourable dialogue, real and imagined, with political extremism. To find out what we believe and why, and how we can end up so far apart.

Presented by Warwick Arts Centre and China Plate.
Commissioned by Northern Stage and Battersea Arts Centre.
