New Diorama
by Rhum and Clay
Genre(s): New Writing, Drama

Tickets: £15 / (£12.50 concessions)

About: Testosterone

With an adoption of a gender comes a history.

One year after his first injection of testosterone trans man Kit is perceived completely as a man. However, with this triumph comes a crisis of masculinity; what kind of man is he?

Within the confines of a distorted male changing room he confronts three icons of masculinity: a sports star, a drag queen, a Marlon Brando impersonator and, ultimately, himself. He bonds, he fights, and he struggles on a quest to discover what it means to feel ‘100% male’.

Critically acclaimed Rhum and Clay (Hardboiled and 64 Squares) return with an explosive collaboration with theatre maker Kit Redstone exploring everything that makes us who we are and what we want to be.

This production is supported by the New Diorama Emerging Companies Fund.
