Green Grass

(Selected for the London International Playwriting Festival)

By the same team who created PUSH (Time Out’s Critic’s Choice), Slipstream present the premiere of a new play by Andrew Muir,
directed by Ben De Wynter at the Union Theatre, Southwark.

Maybe this was what it was like seeing Pinter for the first time before you knew what to expect – Time Out – Tales From a Pier

…the dialogue is funky and fun…the real star is Andrew Muir, who’s sense of structure and conversation make him a writer to watch– The Independent – Anniversary Sweet

…sprawling tale of London’s dark secrets, superbly performed – Time Out – Push

…his characters keep you hooked and entertained – The Times – 8ft Leap

… a devilishly dark comedic streak – The Evening Standard – 8ft Leap

As society becomes obsessed with the dangers that lurk outside the safety of our own homes, paranoia slowly eats away at the very heart of family life. A dinner party seems to be the perfect way of finding comfort, and so we find ourselves on the 13th floor of a block of flats as two couples come together to discuss immigration, second hand furniture and how difficult it is to have a pretty daughter when there is so much terror in the world.
