A series of rehearsed and staged readings professionally delivered by members of The Godot Company, with a lively open discussion to follow.

A fascinating exploration into the work of Samuel Beckett in relation to Europe's history of ideas reflected in the landmarks of itís literary landscape. Starting from Beckett's reference points, the series looks at key thinkers and writers. This Feburary – The French, Flaubert, Proust.

The Godot Company came together with John Calder (Beckettís principal publisher) and actor, Peter Marinker, to perform accessible productions of some of the most significant plays of the twentieth century. Based on a core of veteran actors who combine active careers on stage, screen and in broadcasting with a long-term commitment to sustained rehearsal and performance of the works of Samuel Beckett.
