About: BRAVO

Following on from their successful concert tour in the autumn of 2008 (Debut) and March 2009 (Encore), A Stage Kindly will make a welcome return in October with their third series of concerts showcasing new musical theatre, entitled Bravo.

A Stage Kindly – the brain-child of writers/performers/producers Giles Howe and Katy Lipson – was launched in 2008 with the intention of offering a platform to bring some of the best independent musical theatre works from around the world to audiences in London and around the UK. Their previous concerts featured songs from over twenty new musicals from the pens of writers from the UK, the USA and New Zealand. Continuing the company's commitment to showcasing exciting new musical theatre work, Bravo will feature songs from the musicals The True Princess, Vincent, Don't Cry Butterfly, After The Turn, Whitechapel, Rock Heaven, Alison The Musical, Quel Fromage, Soviet Zion, The Big Picture, The Prince And The Pauper, Mrs McThing, Tales of Tinseltown, All About Love, The Company Of Women, The Charmed Life and Turkish Delight the Opera.

The cast of Bravo will consist of Adam Bayjou (Rue Magique at the King's Head, Big Top at the Bridewell); Frank Loman (Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre, Dance Of The Vampires in Vienna, Bath House The Musical at the Above The Stag Theatre); Arabella Rodrigo (Zorro The Musical UK tour, The Nightingale And The Rose at the Arcola Theatre); Charlotte Donald; Giles Howe; Katy Lipson. Bayjou and Rodrigo have previously featured in A Stage Kindly's stagings of two musicals by Howe and Lipson (Turkish Delight The Opera and Soviet Zion respectively).

Bravo will take to the stage at The Battersea Barge (Wednesday October 21), the Freedom Bar Soho (Thursday October 22), Pizza On The Park (Sunday October 25), The Edge Soho (Tuesday October 27), The Maccabi Manchester (Wednesday October 28) and the Freedom Bar Soho (Thursday October 29).
