KinkyFish are a company of actors dedicated to theatre, script and venues that are a little bit different. We are London based, though our actors and directors come from all over the world.

KinkyFish was formed in 2008 when members met on the Advanced Acting course at City Academy. Bonding through our love of the theatre and a shared vision to bring something different to the audience KinkyFish was born.

Our first show The Tempest was performed in December to intimate audiences. In it, we took our inspiration from French dramatist Antonin Artaud who believed the audience should be more than just passive observers who sit back and observe from afar, as much as possible they should be in the middle of the 'spectacle'. In July 2009 we took these principles again and performed Our Country's Good over two nights to greatly increased audiences.

This December we take things in a different direction with three performances of A Dream Play by August Strindberg.
