Breakfast Hearts: A Love Story

'Never say no to a good nosh up'

A wife that can't swim obsessed with buying a pool, a husband who saws his secretary in half, an innumerate accountant replacing his dead wife and an obsessive girlfriend who liquidises his brain. Two mismatched couples collide in this dark and piercingly funny exploration of the need to be loved and to eat each other.

Choirplay

'What do I believe in? I dont know. Happiness?'

IKEA is the nation's pinnacle of desire. At last, everyone understands what makes us happy. Choirplay takes a wry and cynical swipe at our endless battle with wanting more. Society's individuals blend to become one in this hauntingly compelling play of voices searching for the ultimate fulfilment true happiness

Robin French's first play, Bear Hug, won the Young Writers Programme Festival and was produced at The Royal Court in 2004. It has since had productions all over Europe. In 2005 he was one of Paines Plough/Channel 4s Future Perfect writers. Robin was recently chosen by The Observer as one of Britain's brightest up and coming talents.
