Midsummer Night’s Dream:
On from 18 Sep 2012 till 14 Oct 2012
by William Shakespeare
Genre(s): Classic

Tickets: £12 - £15

About: Midsummer Night’s Dream:

In 1580 Francis Drake returned home from his three-year circumnavigation of the globe with tales of untold treasures, distant lands and the anthropophagi, “men whose heads grow beneath their shoulders”. The map of his voyage was not unveiled until 1590, two years after the defeat of the Spanish Armada, opening up the public consciousness to the wonders of an untamed globe.

In William Shakespeare’s theatre, a new play opened exploring the fringes of our collective imagination, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Recent graduates from the University of Cambridge and RADA, join The Movement as this exciting young company chart the wonders of this imaginative process; that which lies off the edge of the map.

"And, I do not doubt but to hear them say, it is a sweet comedy. No more words... away, go away!"
