The JEWish Cabaret

Purim Cabaret Uncensored

Let us tell you the tale of Purim with songs from The Musical Theatre Hall of Fame. We are going to make history! or at least re-write some story that claims to be history.

Everyone’s invited!

Except for people with ghastly laughs we might find horrendously distracting, and people who wear onesies and have a man bun.

Oh, and people who did Dry January. And people who are humorously challenged. But the rest of you are more than welcome.

An evening you'll never forget – although you might wish you could! See you there!

To the outside world, Polly and Tom seem to represent the normal married couple; successful, loving and happy. But behind closed doors, not all is what it seems. Polly's family and friends are constantly worried for her wellbeing and safety; claiming she has changed from the person she once was.

This fast paced drama centres Tom’s suppressed emotional trauma and the affect it has on those around him and promises to be a thought-provoking and unforgettable evening of theatre that brings the issue of violence at home to the forefront and offers an unexpected and chilling new perspective to the issue.

A new and harrowing play focusing on the taboo subject of domestic violence and violence in the home; it questions as to whether we can fully know what goes on behind closed doors and between four walls.
